iphone 6 voice memos

OK guys, Just got a new PC with Windows 10. In the past I've always been able to sync my phone in itunes, and my latest voice memos will come up in itunes window. Today I deleted a few voice memos from my iphone, and added 1 or 2 new ones. I go to itunes and right click on the phone icon and click the sync button, but instead of bringing up the updated list of voice memos, it shows the memos I had BEFORE I made changes. In other words, there are memos showing that are already deleted from mu iphone. Almost like it isn't syncing at all. What is the problem? Thanks.
