Iphone 7 and AOL signin

I have both IPad Pro and Iphone 7......the ipad will remember the AOL sign in ID and the Password.
The iphone 7 will not. I have to sign in every time I want to check mail or use AOL.

I've check all the settings on both products ad they are the same.

Does anyone out there have this problem or has anyone fixed this problem.

It might be worth deleting your AOL account from the iPhone, and, after rebooting, add it back again.

I did delete the aol account, re installed it and rebooted the iphone still the same. My wife also has the same problem with her IPhone .

Have you checked to make sure iCloud Keychain is turned on on yours and your wife's iPhones?

I deleted app again and reloaded it and like a miracle it now works
