Walking back from shopping today in Windsor, through Eton, we saw this heron on the top of a tree. The 8 seems to have dealt with a certain amount of camera shake.
This dragon is even more interesting, as it was the result of a competition run by a BBC children’s programme ‘Blue Peter’ the winner. From the Kew website ‘The winner was Florence, 11. Her design called Fargesia is an intricate, beautiful dragon with healing powers based on the medicinal properties of plants. Florence was invited to come to Pinewood studios to work with the best modellers in cinema to recreate the dragon under her direction.’
Out driving Friday and about an hour from the house I saw a church that had a massively oversized cross instead of a steeple. The cross was wider than the building and not very well designed. It was about a half mile away and I was on a 75 mph road so no chance to stop for a picture.
