iPhone ios 7.0.3

Hi, I'm a new member. I'm still unfamiliar with terms such as threads, posts, blogs, tags. So I may need some explanations with some things !!
I have just upgraded my iPhone to iOS 7.0.3, and now find my texts are taking a long time to send, and then they are undelivered. Is this a bug? Or do I need to change something else in my phone?
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
