iPhone pictures sideways

I am a new iPhone user I love it. There is one thing when I email pictures it shows up sideways. Does anyone know why or how to fix this?? Thank you

I would take a picture of myself or an object and email it. It shows up sideways but when I take it it shows up normal

When you open the picture from you album, how does it comes out? Portrait or landscape? Anyway if u have camera pro plus, you can correct that behavior.

The same way you rotate side way pictures, the same way u can rotate sideway videos. The app can do a lot more.
