I was trying to open the confirmation receipt for walmart order on my friends iPhone. While I was signing in it looked like the regular gmail sign on screen. Later I realize he was trying to add my gmail account to his iPhone so he could monitor my emails

HOW DO I MAKE SURE HE DIDNT ADD MY GMAIL ACCOUNT TO HIS IPHONE? AND IF HE DID HOW DO I DELETE IT?

Just change your password on the gmail account

Thats some friend you have, Why would he want to do that? I would be asking him, in the meanwhile as has been advised, change that password.

change password and then check it again.

This was already advised over 3 years ago.
The OP hasn't been back since 2013 and won't be seeing anything posted here.
