Is It Bad Idea?

Hello everyone, I'm confused about jailbreaking my phone. Everyone keeps telling me it's a good idea but I don't know whether I want to void the warranty. Of course jailbreaking means that I can enjoy a lot of apps; games that I love don't come cheap you know. What do you guys think? Any of you think it's a bad idea?

Of course I have a biased opinion of Jailbreaking... since every iPhone I've owned has been Jailbroke at one time or another. Here's a good thread that covers the main pros & cons of Jailbreaking....

Discussing iPhones with a good client of mine and why we bought ours he showed me his jailbroken screen, and some if the features. Has to be said very pretty.

Finally i said i moved to iPhone4 from windows mobile mainly for constant reliability, security and freezing issues. He the his iPhone4 did suffer these problems since jail-breaking it.

Imho stay stock which i have, and Apple keep most rogue app's away or at least under quality control, jail brake and you leave your self open to all sorts of possible nasties.

so you have to decide if the 'sweetee's' are worth the risks, especially if you do use online banking from your phone, i'd be very wary!
