iTunes crashes when I check apps on my phone?

Iphone 4 all downloads up to date. Not jailbroken.
I plug my phone in and iTunes it starts and syncs normally. Check apps on phone and iTunes crashes. I have turned off phone and restarted, have not done a hard boot.
My wife's 3gs does just fine.

Do the hard reset and see if it cure that issue. Also try to reboot your computer.

Have done both of those things. Guess its time to contact apple.

Apple will tell you to restore and start fresh.
