itunes is not detecting Iphone 3g after ios updated to 4.1

I updated my iphone os to 4.1. After updation my iphone is detected by windows vista laptop (under portable devices, Apple iphone is there), but is not recognizes by itunes version 10.1.1.4. No detection, no sync. I did itunes reinstall 2-3 times, reset,restarted Iphone but the issue persists. Other iphone 3GS is working fine in my laptop and iTunes is detecting it.

When this happened to me I was advised to go to system properties in Device Manager and update the driver which worked for me.
