I apologize if this seems like a hijack, but maybe I misunderstood why I can't jailbreak my phone. I have the 4S running 5.0.1, but I thought the 5.0.1 was the reason I could not do it. Is it JUST because its a 4S then?

Correct. Presently there is no jailbreak for 4S.
