So I just jailbroke my phone which I have done faithfully for the past three years, now for whatever reason the signal meter is staying at one bar does not fluctuate up nor down, what is going on???

OK - have you tried just restoring back to base IOS (un Jailbroken) and see what happens to your signal then?

i will try but im just hoping that i will still be able to jailbreak when my firmware is update with out the jailbreak

So I tried to restore it and that didn't wOrk tried to downgrade and that didn't work so what now, I thought I was the iPhone guru and this none sense just keeps getting worse!!!!

What didn't work? The signal or the restoration? If it's the signal, i think that u are having a hadware issue, if it's the restoration, i think that you can still restore it factory reset.
