Keep my kids from using other apps

I have been noticing that a lot of parents are doing this thing: they lend their iphone to their kids (2-5 years old) and place it on a selected page where kids apps are located.

My problem is that my kid is now trying to move to other pages where I don't want him to go.

Is there a way to freeze the page?

If you are on iOS4+ you can head to settings> general> restriction: enable ON/OFF and inside restriction you can off some apps that you don't want your kids to use. Other than that, you will have to jailbreak and head to cydia to download apps which can pass word lock folders on your springboard.

Wow! Exactly what I needed in less than 24 hrs. Thanks a lot!

I am particularly happy with the restriction to delete or add apps and also was exited about the one that blocks all apps for certain age group but it did not help too much as the majority of apps do not have age restriction even if they are clearly not made for children. I am now wondering if there is any way to change that?
