Yes it is. I like just being able to glance at the phone, instead of turning it on and looking each time. Does anyone know?

The led notification uses the camera flash and yes it is on the iphone 4s i have it turned on.
to turn it on go to: Setting---> General---> Accessibility

Yes it works on the iphone4. I had it set up and forgot, got a message during the night and scared the crap out of me....

This is awesome news, I may be going to get a iPhone 4s!!

Not quite as good. I loved the led notification on the droid incredible, it stayed on till you looked at it. the iphone will only flash, and you'll have to have your phone face down.
