Looking a better then good GPS app

I use waze too and think it's a great app. I was a droid user and used google nav and haven't found anything as good...but waze comes close

I've had great success with the GPS from TeleNav. It's free but costs $9.99 for voice activation for 1 year. I have 2 different Garmin Nuvis (old and new) and they're
really no different than the TeleNav. In fact, with a smartphone GPS you don't need to pay for updated maps each year.
I travel to another city most of the week and just in case I forget to pack my Garmin, or go somewhere unexpectedly, it's good to know I always have something better
than printing out Google Maps!
