Managing Multiple iPhones in the household

I have 5 active iPhone connections in the household. One for me, one for the wife, one for my 15 year son, one for my 5 year old daughter and one as spare / car phone.

I have enabled Parental controls on my children's iPhones, but find that the controls are a bit rudimentary. Is there some app which will allow me to manage these devices remotely and monitor them for unwanted usage? Something like a MDM plus a firewall for household rather than an organisation.

I was thinking of iPhone Configuration Utility. Does anybody think it is a viable proposition or there are better options.

Any advice will be appreciated.
