missing icon

I like mapping apps, so I have a folder on my phone to centralize different apps. I tried to move the icon for a new app in the folder, and the icon disappeared. As far as I can tell it did not combine with another app. The Apple App Store still shows it but opening it in the Store does not restore the app. It is also in my Settings, and opening it there does not restore the icon to my screen.

How can I get the icon back? Thank you

Try swiping the inside of the folder. IOS allows for more than one page of apps inside of each folder
