Monitoring GPS Signal Strength and Accuracy

I recently "upgraded" from and old Android HTC phone to an Iphone 5s. I seemed to have a lot more control of the internal GPS with the old phone. I can't seem to find anything under the iPhone setting to even see if the GPS is turned on, let alone what satellites its using or it's predicated accuracy. Maybe I'm missing something.

How do I control and monitor GPS usage? Running IOS 8.0.2.
