Engadget reports today that T-Mobile USA has started selling iPhone charge/sync cables in its corporate stores. Does this mean that the rumoured T-Mobile iPhone might actually be on the way? It certainly seems strange that they would stock such a cable in their stores otherwise, but then again, as Engadget points out, it might actually mean nothing of the sort, as T-Mobile stores have also been selling Nexus One accessories recently, without T-Mobile having the Nexus One on its network. Either way, it certainly seems as if T-Mobile is feeling a little ambivalent about the iPhone. One minute Deutsche Telekom supremo Rene Obermann is, according to the Wall Street Journal, partly blaming the fact that T-Mobile doesnt have the iPhone for its failure to hold onto more contract customers, while on the other hand, T-Mobile has just released a cheeky advert poking fun at the iPhones exclusivity deal with AT&T. Its probably fair to say though, whatever all this means, that T-Mobile USA would love to be carrying the iPhone as soon as possible!
