Hi!! Just want to know if there's an application that i can download on my iphone4 so i can use my music as my ringtone? Please help...

Jailbreaked already or not? If not you can do that via iTune as well download ringtone designer from app store, follow instruction to makd your ringtone, when finish connect your phone to your computer iTune, in the application tab where you can view app installed on yoir phone, scroll down to see the sharing app, clic on ringtone designer, and there you will find the ringtone you've just created. Transfer that ringtone to you your comouter desktop and from there change that ring tone extention into ex: save the world.m4r the extention should be m4r, when finish, drag and drop your ringtone into your itune on your computer, close itune and restart it again and now your should see a ringtone tab added near SUMARY, MUSIC, APPLICATION, VIDEOS, BOOK etc... Clic the ringtond tab, select the ringtone that you want to sync with your phone and clic sync.

all you have to do is go into your itunes library chose a song you want as a ringtone and then right click and convert to aac and then from the .m4a rename it to .m4r and make sure the file is under 30 seconds, there are plenty of audio editors i am sure you know and might already have one and then add it to your ringtones library in itunes and it will load in the ringtones section, also if you jailbreak you can make the songs over 30 seconds and upload them via SSH

the only problem on my mac there is no properties after i right click as per your above referred site !!

5. Go back the song on your desktop and right click on your song and chose "Properties". Go to the name and extension section and change the extension from .m4a to .m4r (or you can just change the extension right from your desktop).

Please help

it just so happens you can see both arguments why to jailbreak and another why not to..

http://www.iphoneforums.net/forum/new-members-11/iphone-4-16gb-10628/index2.html#post53812

its always good to hear both sides and why they think it might not be good but i have posted many reasons to do so..

also Audio Editor Freeware - Easily and quickly edit audio file, add effects to audio, split audio file. is a free audio editor for mac that i use and find very help full, you can with in that application save mp3s as aac and then press enter on the file to rename it and if you dont see any extension name then manually type .m4r and it will say do you want to keep .m4a or change and just click change, with jailbreak you can also upload the song with out having to cut it down to under 30 seconds but the tool is still handy even if you just use it to convert the files easier then on itunes..

hope that helps :)
