in Cyprus football is basically a religion! every one loves it and it causes much violence, I went to a game once and I kept screaming goaaaalll even when the other side was putting in goals lol... I got some evil looks but I only went because my friend she got me in for free.

to be honest F1 is the closest thing to a sport I like.. well go your team

But more back on topic, Apology accepted.

Yes everyone had their own take on which sports they prefer. I've been a season ticket holder for 24 years, so huge religion to me. In the late 80's early 90's it was very violent football but since then it's tried to be contained, and nearly succeeded to date. Theres a lot of families that go these days compared to the late 80's you were shocked if you saw families back then. I'm glad football is safer these days. As for F1, I find you sit there, you hear a roar, you look left something whizzes past you say to your friend "Who was that?" your friend replies" not sure but it'll be back in 1min 24 seconds" lol.

As for sports, you all overseas should really check out hockey. I'm addicted- it's great!

Which hockey? Grass or ice? Ice hockey is pretty good but here in the UK it's not something that's advertised really.

Ice hockey all the way. You can find games online if you want to check one out. There's a great team (my team), the New Jersey Devils, playing a game in a few minutes. Can't wait to watch!
