I'm a noobie to this forum. Still have the 3g. Waiting for the 5 to come out and prices for 4 to go lower before I upgrade. In the mean time, I've managed to trash and replace the mute switch on my 3g, and replace the battery. I've found that the fewer apps you have, the longer the battery lasts. And turning off the location services for everything that doesn't need it. And turning off push notifications. So I'm milking my 3g for all it's got. Maybe I'll find some other tips here.
I do network support for a global company, so I'm fairly technical.
When I take vacation, I like to leave all the tech toys at home (or off).
