Need help!!!

I have iphone 4 was running on 4.3.5 gevey sim unlocked.
So, i heard about the new untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 and i decided to give it a try considering the fact that it's legit and many people out there have tried it successfully.

Downloaded the new firmware.
As mine was gevey sim unlocked i had to make a custom firmware out of it via RedSnow to keep the same BB.

Restored it through Itunes.
Now, it got fully restored and upgraded and hopefully on the same broadband.
But, now i don't know what to do..
I mean it's on activation mode and it would not go any further from that.

PLEASE!
Help me and tell me what exactly should i do..

Do you use RedSn0w? If so try booting it tethered from redsnow.

Do the jailbreak with redsn0w and it should hacktivate it

I kept fingering around with it until i thought of jailbreaking it.
And, it worked.
Was able to bypass the activation screen with an untethered jailbreak
Everything works now but for some reason my gevey sim isn't working.

When I put it in
It displays that screen with icons of accept and cancel and to call 112 hang up and all that.
And, I follow every step but
It doesn't work.
Leaves me with minutes of searching and then "No Service"
