I honestly don't know. I would say yes, but I'm sure. Hopefully, someone else will be able to chime in and answer this one. Sorry - but I just am not sure.

I would say yes it would, i turn my mobile data off when i'm at home because if my wifi connection drops the phones mobile data kicks in and gobbles up my credit, when i turn it off it relies on my home wifi, hope that makes sense.
