New thread - how do I make title bold ?

All my post show without bold type in the title. All others are bold. What are tags ? What do they do ? Sorry for my ignorance.

If you look at my other post, you will see that it is not in bold. I have no idea how this one changed to bold. When I first looked at it it wasn't !!

It's bold when a there is a new post. It is "unbolded" when you read it. It won't look bold to you unless there is a new post and you haven't read it yet. It was bold to me until I read it.
