New to iphone

Hi,

I also come from Android to 7 Plus. I am not new to iPhone. Just some fickle-minded in life. 1st world problem.

Look :

After a Long Nokia series smartphone. Jump to iPhone 4. Apps were many. Jail broken were wonder. Then I jump to Note 2.

My first Android bigger size phone. It's like mini computer with window explorer.....

So when Note 4 and 6 Plus launch at same month...

My curiosity were at 6 Plus but yet Note 4 had better specs. I grab Note 4 on launched instead after failing 6 Plus since it's impossible to get stock and I cannot wait.

But some months later I sold off Note 4 for high value 700 to buy 6 Plus at slightly Low retail price from seller who going recontract but no need the phone. Bet you the seller using S4. :)

Days were fun and I got to jailbreak iOS 8.3.

Nevertheless I switch back to try S7 Edge since the specs got better again.

Thing about S7 Edge, display, battery, window explorer, sdcard, camera Low light food mode, downloading... Adult features app... And VR which I didn't try -> sort of regret.

Bought 7 Plus in fickle temptation... lol...

Miss S7 Edge too but also in love with 7 Plus...

^^.

Just couldn't do it... Sold my iP7+ and will be going back to Android. I leave with a new found respect for iPhone/iOS and admit it does certain things better, but at the end of it all I find myself preferring the customization and openness of Android ... There will be some things I miss about the iP7+, but after using an iPhone for several weeks I found my Android "miss list" started to grow more and more daily.

This is certainly a great forum filled with awesome members!! I may pop in from time to time to say hi... Just don't ridicule me LOL

Just wanted to say hello everyone. I've read through every post in this thread, start to finish. Very informative, especially as a Nexus 6 owner and Android user considering my first Apple / iOS device.

I do have a couple questions though. Is there a one handed keyboard available for the iphone? Can you scroll through a text input field by sliding across the spacebar?

I admit I'm definitely afraid of missing the ability to stick my apps anywhere on the screen. I keep my most used ones on the bottom left where I can easily launch them with one hand.

Welcome to iPhoneForums, SLMcc!

There are one handed keyboards available. One of them has been posted here: http://www.iphoneforums.net/threads...lled-on-your-iphone.67778/page-25#post-388167

Four of the apps you use most of the time can be added to the dock of your iPhone:

When you switch homescreens, they'll still be there at the bottom.

I'm sure I saw a "yes" to this somewhere but... If you're on a phone call and get a message such as WhatsApp while you're on the call, do you hear a tone to let you know you received a message?

Yup.

Quick question... What setting do I have to change to keep the screen from coming on every time I get a notification? Thanks!

Go to Settings>Notifications and make sure banners are turned off for every app that can send you a notification.
