AppleInsider today reports on a brand new video that has emerged on YouTube of what is said to be a gold iPhone 6s shell.
If the phone part in the video is in fact a genuine iPhone 6s shell, then it would seem to back up recent rumours that Apple has reinforced the case in order to avoid another “bend-gate” furore.
The video, posted by Unbox Therapy, shows that while the iPhone 6s is a tiny big bigger than the current iPhone 6, it is still 2 grams lighter, which could back up a recent report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said that Apple is using 7000 Series aluminum in its new iPhone range. Apple currently uses 7000 Series aluminum in the Apple Watch Sport.
As AppleInsider notes, Unbox Therapy was actually responsible for exposing “bendgate” via a video that showed how it was possible to bend an iPhone 6 Plus with the right amount of pressure.
