New with question

Hi -- I'm new. I'm in Oregon. I just tried to post a topic to the jailbreak apps sub-forum, but it didn't appear to post, and it's not listed in my profile or anything. Am I not allowed to post because I'm too new? Please help, my baby is crying and pulling at me as I type this, and I'm having troubles with my phone I need to try to fix before I go out of state for a week-and-a-half tomorrow.
