It’s already morning over in Australia and New Zealand, which means that, as MacRumors reports, some very lucky people are already getting the chance to unbox their brand spanking new iPhone Xs. As you might expect, this means lots of pictures and videos have been posted on social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram, and reddit of people unwrapping their new phones. There are no Apple retail stores in New Zealand, so the first walk-in customers in the world to get their hands on the iPhone X are in Australia, happening right now. Following that, stores in Asia, Europe, and then North America will all be opening to customers at 8:00 a.m. local time. Mashable has a great live blog tracking the launch around the world, which you can access here: Apple iPhone X launch: Around the world as the device goes on sale
Certain other retailers, such as Target and AT&T, will also have limited iPhone X stocks available to walk-in customers, although these are expected to be in even more scarce supply than in Apple’s own retail stores.
