I have got a quick question for you. Last week i bought iphone4 used. Previously my iphone 4 was working on every carrier. But I did updated to 5.0.1 and baseband 04.11.08 now it is showing no service although i jail break it but it doesn't work please advise what should i do now as i am so pissed its not working my dad is really mad at me please help me asap...

Updating to 5.0.1 w/ an iP4 updates your BB to 4.11.08 and locks it back to it's original carrier. This BB is not unlockable at this time.

Look for ultrasnow in cydia and check if it can unlock your baseband or not.

4.11.08 cannot be unlocked by software (ultrasn0w) or hardware (Gevey Sim) at this time.
