No sound when playing some artists (music only)

Iam getting no sound when I play some songs on my music, and only a couple of artists work. And when I press play it will have the 'play' button on top of battery bar, But no sound is coming through at all. I tried resetting it and tried the headphones but still no fix. Iam considering a Samsung galaxy s III, if I will or won't fix the problem. Thanks
