got my 4s on the 27th and I'm still not 100% sure about it,coming from android i find the restrictions a bit hard,mainly that it doesn't look as tho i can put my own text alerts downloaded from the net on it,however i do like the music player,the one i had on the galaxy wasn't anywhere near as good.

You have to convert the alerts to m4r in order for them to work.

i was doing great until i got to the bit that said rename the file from m4a to m4r and i couldn't find an option for it,help........think i managed to convert one,its now called m4r in iTunes,found out how to do the renaming thing in google,i didn't get a box come up tho asking if i wanted to change the name,anyway its still in music in my phone,plz can you tell me how to get it to into sounds now or how to use it as a text alert

I would convert the file instead of renaming it. The name change has never worked for me. I would suggest a program called Xilisoft iPhone ringtone creator.
