Me, Me!!! I actually can't wait for the drama to be over. I'm exhausted! LMAO! What's the strategy for getting the tool to download if you experience server logjam (with tool, not Cydia)? Do you just keep clicking on the tool download button til it starts?Looking @ approximately 3 more hours! Who up and at 'em w/ me watching the clock?

And will jailbreak be faster if your phone is empty?
I just remember how the Absinthe tool itself for 5.1.1 tells you that the jailbreak will take longer if you have a full phone.Nope. Remember that jailbreaks basically apply another layer on top of your device, so you'll need some storage space but not a lot. There isn't much caching that goes on in the device unless they've changed it around this time.

Well ok. But my memory tells me that when I restored my wife's phone last year to factory and then jail broke with Absinthe it too about 30 seconds to JB. When I did my phone, about 26GB of 32 used it took almost 12 minutes to JB. Could that be? Or am I remembering something wrong? In reference to a full phone... everything takes longer when your phone is full. As long as you have 1GB+ free you'll have no issues in that aspect.

What other tool was there last year to JB? Didn't it take redsn0w forever before it was ready? Is that what you used?I've never used Absinthe... so I'm not sure about the storage #'s.
