Well at 5PM I decided I was going to get up at 1AM and head for the Sprint store. At 815PM I was rushing my oldest daughter to the ER. She will be having her appendix taken out when you guys are getting phones. Wish I could be there! Be safe.

Bugger! Hope your daughter is ok. There's always another day to go get your phone.

I joined about 6:30.

Yup, totally worth it.

Standing in line with folks just as excited as you are is cool. The atmosphere was great this morning. The geniuses did their customary lap of the queue all shouting "iphone 5, iphone 5, iphone 5!" about 7:50. The first guy in line got the VIP treatment at 8am on the dot. Taken in personally and sold the first iPhone on his own in the shop by all the staff at once... Very cool. He had been camped out since yesterday, so I guess I'll never know that feeling since I enjoy sleeping in my bed too much.
A 5am start was early enough for me!

The phone is awesome. Looks and feels gorgeous. Performs very well. etc. etc. Well worth it IMHO!
