The best time to take iPhone photos of the Moon are just before sunrise and late evening before the sky gets too dark. The iPhone camera can’t handle the contrast ratio between the bright Moon and black sky.

The problem is the small physical size of the iPhone camera. For really good shots of the Moon at night you’d need a camera with a lens half the size of the iPhone.

With the three lenses, the results are the same ! This is not the iPhone's favorite exercise unfortunately [emoji22]

I agree. However, Some manufacturers are doing better to date ( Samsung and its S21 for example)! Apple is not allowed to fall asleep on its laurels! In my mind !
