Here's an updated photo of the mural. It should be done by tomorrow.
The Saskatchewan Legislative Building with the restored copper dome exposed after a two year restoration.
It's a beautiful building.
When it was built, it was the largest building in Saskatchewan. It's probably the equivalent of a 30 story office building laid on its side.
As the copper weathers, it will turn dark brown and eventually a bright blue-green colour after several decades. The old copper dome was treated to stay black.
I saw this statue on my morning walk today.

There's going to be a third mural further down the wall on the other side of the doors. The artist will likely paint it this weekend.

I think thats what they call Tromp-l'oeil which means Trick of the eye.
