How much is "not too far" in km (roughly)? I'm just curious. Compared to Austria, Canada is a huge country, and I'd like to know if your "not too far" is about the same distance as ours.Mammoth remains have been found not too far from where I live.
Probably a few dozen kilometres away. The most common remains found are the large grinding teeth and pieces of tusk. Most remains have been discovered in gravel pits during removal of the gravel for road construction, concrete use, etc.How much is "not too far" in km (roughly)? I'm just curious. Mammoths were found in Vienna too, when St. Stephen's Cathedral was built. That's about 90 km from here, and my "not too far away".
