Picture won't load and i can't delete it

I was taking some photos with my iphone and a couple of them just have a spinning dial in the frame. the picture won't load and i cannot delete it from my phone.

i tried to see if i could do it from itunes with the phone connected but i don't see anywhere that i can view the images that are on the phone.

any thought ?

Try hard resetting. Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time for 10 seconds until you see the apple logo.
