Pirchasing apps on Cydia

I read that we should be mindful of the sources or repositories we purchase from on FAQ from Cydia page. Can anyone explain what to look for on the description of app to ensure or to be proactive about what apps we are purchasing? Ex. ( if its signed, sponsor , source, etc. ). Thanks peeps!

As long as you don't add any additional sources to the ones that comes with cydia by default, you are fine. As long as these are the only ones you have don't worry about it, it's safe as can be. Just use PayPal and its a piece of cake.
