The zombie apocalypse just got a little bit prettier! Pocket Gamer has the heads up today for all you Plants vs. Zombies fans, with the news that the Retina Display update that PopCap promised a while ago is finally here. And the reason for the delay? Well according to the games very own Crazy Dave, speaking from his workshop, PopCap needed to collect the required number of brains and zombie body parts to enable the Retina Display, and that took some time, but theyve done it now, and very happy we are too! Aside from the Retina Display support, the update also includes speed optimisations as well as a few bug fixes. Meanwhile, if you fancy a bit of a laugh inbetween defending your homestead from rampaging zombies using nothing but plant life, check out PopCaps very funny new Ask a Zombie advice column. Who knew zombies were so wise?
