Problem: number incorrect

I have an 8S and for the last month I can call my son but he can not call me. He gets an error message” the number or code you dialed is incorrect” we can text and FaceTime each other and I can call him. He just can’t get me. We have checked both phones for block and neither are blocked. Any ideas???

I’ve moved your post to it’s own thread, where it will receive more attention.

There’s no iPhone 8s yet, so I assume you’ve got an iPhone 7 or 8.
FaceTime connects via email address as well, that explains why it works.
Compare the number on your iPhone to the one he’s trying to call. Maybe it’s not exactly the same one.

Exactly this ^^ sometimes a number or stray character is accidentally added to a contact number.

I was getting no service message and took my 7+ back to Att. They changed the SIM card. It’s worked fine since.
