Question about jailbreaking an iphone 3gs ..just making sure from experts???

It's locked to 02.ie at the moment..model number is mc637b...serial number 3211408vedg..firmware is 05.16.05..it's on 5.1.1 9b206...I have asked my carrier to unlock my phone through my imei serial number..I have looked on here and I want to ask about how or what method do I j-break with..I will wait first for the unlocking code from apple/02..what is the best method for this....thanks in advance
