When I used fly transcon I always found ( if I worked in the daytime which actually was rare) that a lot of the terrain from just west of the Rockies to east of the coastal mountains looked like I should be calling Tranquillity Base here, looking for the Eagle!!

Frangipani caterpillar. To me, if you look close, it's feet look like it's wearing 'cartoon-style construction boots' A dozen of these can strip a tree of all its leaves in a few hours though [emoji3064]

Some people here believe that the loss of the leaves on Frangipani tree is 'natural' like what happens in winter up north. The trees do regrow healthy leaves but we use the insecticide because the bugs can also chew up other plants very very quickly. But it does hurt my heart to kill them ( or anything)
