We have the same Tulip tree. My wife and son planted it 25 yrs. ago. I estimate that it gets about 2500 blossoms at one time and that may be low. I’m not allowed on ladders but my wife gets out and picks a bit to have in the house.

This battery powered candle was on a brass dish in front of a piece of textured glass. I sneaked around behind it and shot though the piece of glass.

I first noticed it growing in a roadside verge nearby last Winter with just the outline and decided to keep an eye on it.
