Recording conversations

One of the big reasons I am switching from Blackberry is (I understand) a very good App that allows me to record a conversation and then have a transcribed summary sent to me via email
I have done searches and the best I have come up with is Dragon Dictation

Would appreciate advice - this is a business tool

Why get an app, the iPhone does it already. Just go to the Note app, or any other app that uses the keyboard, and when you bring up the keyboard you will see a mike next to the space bar.

I have used it many times and it works great. I would give this a try. I had Dragon Dictation before but I like this function much better.

Hi I was looking at the keyboard in notes and there is not a mike there , is there some setting I have to activate to get the mike Thanks

I don't have the microphone on my notes either. Do you have to have the 4GS to have that feature? I have the 4G only

Same here! My guess is that you need to have the 4S
