Restore Windows to retrieve iPhone backup

Hi,

I recently got some sort of error on my iPhone in which the phone could not boot up past the white apple logo on startup. I decided to restore the iPhone and attempt to use a backup from 4 days ago. Somehow, I ended up overwriting the last backup from 4 days ago, and the new one has none of my contacts, photos, notes, texts... everything. If I were to restore Windows to yesterday, would iTunes go back to having the backup I made 4 days ago?? The only other option I have is to use a backup from July 2012. Pleaseeee help!!

I think that would work. I did the same thing back on iOS 5.0.1 on my iPad 2. But how positive about it, I'm only at 50/50. Reason is that restoring Windows does not recover all changes made. But hey, there's nothing to lose now since you don't have any working backup.
