Restoring app progress to phone

I recently backed up my 4s to my computer because i had to get a new phone ( mic problem). When i went to restore all my apps with the new phone all of my progress on some apps was deleted! Is there any way to restore it?
I really appreciate any help

go into itunes and select the app section of your iphone and see if they are listed there and make sure they have a tick next to it to install it if not that means you have not backed up after installing the app and you can re install it from the purchased section in the app store
