Saving contacts

Hello!

I'm currently waiting for my number to be ported over from Tesco to Vodafone, it should be happening tomorrow. I've been told to save all my contacts to my iPhone 4 memory instead of the Tesco sim otherwise they'll all be lost. Not sure how to do this, does anyone have any ideas? How do I know whether they're saved on the sim or the memory?

Hi Laura... not sure why they'd tell you this. The iPhone already saves contacts to it's physical memory... not the SIM card. As well, do you have a backup of your iPhone and/or contacts somewhere? Just in case...

I have them backed up to iCloud I think (!) but I wouldn't really know how to get them from there back on to my iPhone!

If you have them backed w/ iCloud then you'll be good to go.

If it comes about that you'd need to restore your phone... there's an option to restore your contacts, notes, pics, etc (whatever you have backed up to iCloud) from iCloud.
