Sharing apps between 2 iPhones.

Ok so this a bit confusing.

I have 2 iPhones, one for me and one for my girlfriend.

We share one Macbook and one iTunes library.

She bought some of the extra upgrades for the Hipstamatic App but they won't update onto my iPhone when I plug it in.

Usually when one of buys an app, it'll transfer to both phones once they're both re-synced but for some reason these extra upgrades won't show up on mine..

Any idea how to fix this?

Thats interesting. Not sure. I would be interested to know the answer as me and my wife share an account too. I wonder if you have to go into your app and upgrade too and then hope they don't charge you twice? They shouldn't anyway.

I dont think in app purchases transfer when syncing for some reason. It happened to me when I bought the eagle in angry birds.

I had to 'buy' it again on my iPod and the wifes iPhone but I wasn't charged...

Oh :T it works for apps purchased but I guess not things purchased in apps...haha

If thats the case its not even worth it. I think you can just shut off in app purchases. Done.

I don't need it. Once I've done a level it brings about a whole new mini game. Trying to get a feather on each level as well as three stars.

How is it not worth it downloading it again manually? It's alot quicker than syncing two phones to iTunes...

Maybe i misunderstood. You can get the in app purchases you just have to download again within app? I thought you were saying you would have to pay again.

I just download again on each iPhone/iPod. You can do up to 5 on total as long as each are on the same iTunes account...

5 at the same time? Or period? I have never made an in app purchase. Looks like a way around installous for the developers, may see this more and more.

You can redownload any app or in-app purchase as often as you need to as long as it's on the same iTunes account and no more than 5 devices.

I would hope it's upto 5 at any one time. I've got 3 iDevices on one account just now. If they all get upgraded I would like to remove app and in app purchases from the old 3 and place them on the new ones. Or one would be without, but I don't think it would work like that...
