Siri not working

I just got my iPhone 4s yesterday. I cannot get Siri to work. It worked for a minute when I first got my phone and then stopped working.

Have you checked your internet connection?

What exactly does it do when you try to use it?

When I tap on the Siri app it tells me there is a network connection problem. But I just figured out that if I hold down the "home" button, then Siri works fine! Thank you for responding to me!

I had faced the same issue when I upgrade my Apple Watch. But with the help of EDITED, I solved this annoying problem.
