Siri send imessenge instead of text

I have tried search for the answer without success.

Here is my issue.

My wife has an iPod touch and a 'normal' phone. How do I chose which device to message - text 'normal' phone or iMessage iPod?

You can only send iMessage between two iOS 5 devices

You can turn off iMessages under Settings>Messages>iMessage>Off

maybe what u can do is seperate ur wifes contacts.... like one contact for her normal phone and one contact for her ipod touch so when u want u say "message <wifes name>'s iphone"........
like put her email as the iphone since its ios..... n normal phone under mobile..
i dnt noe if it works but it can be a solution
